In October, a new doctoral student, Klaudia Szarszoń, joined us.
Klaudia did her master thesis under the supervision of Dr. Joanna Wątły and currently, they continue this scientific collaboration.
In her work, Klaudia will deal with Zn(II) and Cu(II) complexes with peptidomimetics of antimicrobial peptides from saliva and will try to understand the relationships between the complex structure, stability, mode of action and biological activity.
