Klaudia Szarszoń

I’m a first year PhD student and I’m a part of NCN OPUS 21 project “Small, well-armed fighters vs. powerful, devastating enemies - modified peptide complexes from human saliva in the fight against pathogenic microbes”.

The aim of my research is to understand bioinorganic chemistry of Zn(II) and Cu(II) complexes with peptidomimetic saliva antimicrobial peptides and the relationship between the structure of the complex, stability, mode of action and biological activity.

In addition to my PhD studies, I am a student and teacher of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
